Welts

I hovered over the landmass staring at red lines interrupting what otherwise looked like smooth skin...

Laughing at the cancer diagnosis. It holds no power compared to the power of the Holy One! Praise you Jesus for the welts you endured for me! What a mighty Saviour!!!!!!

Reading this today, Katherine, I was reminded that by His stripes, we are healed. He took the welts for us and, I sense, for the land; which is presumably why the healing was so rapid once it had begun. The 'work' has already been done, the healing paid for and now all it takes is for us to accept and honour what He has done. Religion, over the years, has made it hard, dishonouring that which Jesus has provided; wanting to burden people with a sense of difficulty and false costliness. But we have seen the ease of trusting in what Jesus has done for us and for His creation; no wonder that the Creation has waited with eager anticipation for the revealing of the sons of God. Only the sons have the authority to bless the land in Jesus name. Of those who have gone before, many have trusted in their own efforts to produce healing. The walk from Chester to Caerleon in June 2011 was one of ease, trusting not in ourselves but in our Bridegroom; the One who has loved us and done for us all that we will ever need. I think that the contention on the last day tested our resolve to simply trust in Christ. But we have and He has sealed what we have done for Him as we have acknowledged the enormity of that which He has done for us.
Katharine, you are such an inspiring leader of this Team, keeping us focused in the 'Rest' of God.
Blessings upon blessings. Andrew

Jesus has taken the welts for us and for the land. No need for silly strategies, He has done it all.
I loved being on your team (Chester to Caerleon); thanks for keeping us resting in the One who has done the work.
